February 1st????

How the heck did it get to be February already???

We've had a few snow/ice storms so far this year, but not much total accumulation. Hoping that the weather holds out for next weekend's quilt retreat in Lancaster.

I have a few projects planned for the weekend... An Army quilt for David's graduation in March (a couple different army fabrics...) and want to make the tote bag that Sue gave me the pattern and FQs to make it for Christmas.

I am in charge of the games for the weekend... have a few in mind, including a new one called LCR which we are going to be playing for FQs.

Today, I want to finish the cut and sew jumper for Kali that I think Sue must have given me in her stash she handed down to me..... I finally figured out how to line the bodice...

Hoping David calls today.... I miss him. Hope the weather has been ok for them to train...

Getting things done....

Finished charity quilts. Found a bunch of shirts on sale, and have washed and started to deconstruct them. Finished David's John Deere quilt and made him 3 pillow cases to match.

Am at the beach with my sister and her friend this week... been knitting socks...

Making progress.....

slowly, but ever so surely....

Folded several lengths of fabric to be put away in the closet... finished binding the charity quilt (2 more to finish if I get a chance.... if not, next year). Working on the NYE mystery that I am a tester for.... deadline... November 30th.

I really need to keep up with these blogs....

My life is just crazy..... September 22- October 10th, I was the nurse at Camp Swatara with the Wilson 6th graders... I had a great time.... and I got ALOT!!!! done.

My goal this year was to organize my scraps.... I cut and sorted and really made a HUGE dent in the pile.

I want to do a Carolina Crossroads as a starting point with my scraps.

working lots these days.... and a lot of last minute. Makes for poor planning LOL...

Starting my Blog -- November 8, 2007

Finally decided to start a blog. Just spent the past week at the beach with my sister and a few friends. Lots of time to quilt and knit. Have several projects in the works for Christmas presents
